This piece shows us Antoni Gaudí's forging skills, a technique based on the metal's deformation with a hammer. His father and grandparents had been boilermakers. Gaudí grew up with close iron and helped him master the craft. Later he developed techniques and designs in iron to decorate his buildings, towards doors, railings, bars, furniture and handles knobs and handles.
